Let me get this straight. Obama stands before us at the State Of The Union and tells us he feels our pain, that he understands the needs of the country and that he will spend his time fighting for “Jobs, Jobs, JOBS.”

He is met with a standing ovation–even Republicans applaud. Why not? Jobs, the Economy and the Deficit are the top three concerns for us, the American people.

Then comes the switch! ObamaCare is given a last push; Immigration Reform is considered with the help of Lindsey (BOZO) Graham and Education Reform is ushered to the front of the line.

Was the State Of The Union just more campaign style rhetoric? Will he EVER stray from his liberal agenda?

Barak Obama, like his alter ego Jimmy Carter, will be a one term President and like Jimmy will fall to the depths of  “Worst President”  right alongside him.

So, yesterday we find out that the Federal deficit for February was $220B and that fiscal year to date (5 months) is $651B.

STAGGERING numbers for a President who was going “line by line” to reject waste, fraud and abuse of tax dollars. May I suggest, even before the burden of ObamaCare, YOU have FAILED!

Then we are told that the $850B for ObamaCare will save us $118B over 10 years. Such a DEAL- I can hardly contain myself; if we increase the cost tenfold, just think of all that money we could “SAVE.”

I suppose for an Administration that hangs its success on phantom “saved jobs”, magical “ObamaCare Savings” are the next logical step.

Pretty soon I will have to believe in the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and Santa Clause. Unfortunately, I am too old for that and, hopefully, too wise.

The recent remarks from Lindsey Graham that he would help Democrats in their quest to close Guantanamo is an attempt to have 15 minutes of fame or an open declaration, “I am a BOZO!”

Does Lindsey, no not Lohan, thinks that moving enemy combatants from Guantanamo to the Thompson, IL prison will stop terrorist recruiting, reduce the threat of Islamic Extremists or even calm the liberal leftists?

Islamic Extremism must be crushed. Islamic Terrorists must be treated as enemy combatants in military tribunals. If martyrdom is what they seek, give them their 72 virgins.

But if ANYONE thinks that a change in geography will make us any safer or melt the heart of Al Qaeda- they are sadly mistaken.

Lindsey Graham take your sign: You are a BOZO !

I was appropriate today when Obama had his photo-op for ObamaCare that he wore his purple tie.

This was his signal to Andy Stern of the SEIU that he was still in his hip pocket, still doing Union bidding and still pushing the progressive Union agenda.

Obama realized a “shout out” to Andy would be a bit over the top but the tie would be more subtle.

Jimmy Carter had his First Brother Billy-Barack Obama has his First Buddy, Andy Stern!

Senator Jim Bunning stands alone, facing the other 99 Senators in opposition to the extension of Unemployment Benefits. Yeah- I know he is retiring, is not up for reelection in November and has very little to lose- but he is still standing there, alone. All he is asking is to offset the $10 B with other reductions.

My knowlege of Mr. Bunning is rather limited- although he did pitch for the Pittsburgh Pirates later in his career- recollections as a Senator place him a bit on the wacko side. None the less,  he stands alone.

Reminds me of the protester in Tiananmen Square, he too stood alone in front of the approaching tank.

This may not be the same life or death situation, but I applaud Jim Bunning for taking this unpopular ( in the Senate) stand.

Maybe with more “wackoes” in office we wouldn’t have so many BOZOS.

Last Friday, Glenn Beck had a program promoting a quiz to determine where you actually stand on the Political continuum. I’m sure many of you saw this program because, after the show the site was bombarded.

Friday night I attempted to take the quiz only to receive a message that, because of the traffic, the site may be slow or unreachable. Several hours later the same message was received. My attempts on Saturday met the same fate.

On Sunday I searched for other sites that may have the quiz and found many, so I chose one and took the quiz.

Much to my surprise, my lifelong thought that I was a Conservative were dashed. No, I certainly wasn’t a liberal, nor a Centrist. Nope, not an Authoritarian.

From this quiz, it was determined that I am a Libertarian; not just ANY Libertanian, mind you, but a RADICAL Libertarian.

I am waiting now to take the Glenn Beck recommended test. But the site has crashed, due to the elevated response, they have requested several days to update their server.

I’ll let you know what those results are.

Kudos to Frances Gallo in Rhode Island: She’s the school Superintendent who decided to fire teachers who couldn’t teach.

High dropout rate and low test scores for the students led to her decision. It’s about time SOMEONE stood up to ineffective teachers and a Teacher’s Union that couldn’t do their job!

Thank- you Frances Gallo, for being an American Hero.

Thanks the Lord it’s only a straw poll.

And the winner is … Ron Paul.

Mr. Paul, a Republican Congressman from Texas who inspired an intense following for president in 2008, swept the 2012 presidential straw poll Saturday at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

He won with 31 percent of the nearly 2,400 votes at the conference, edging out Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, who won the straw poll last year and who captured 22 percent of the vote.

Look folks, Ron Paul has a few interesting things to say on the economic front, but if we nominate this guy in 2012 the Mondale and Goldwater routs will be forgotten.

Admittedly, for political junkies like me, you can be tempted to put too much emphasis on a straw poll. But when there is a chance to survey 10,000 — that’s right, 10,000 — political activists, it is hard not to get a little excited to see the results. Alas, that is not what happened this weekend. Sure, there were 10,000 attendees, but only 2,395 participated in this unscientific survey.

You do the math. Not quite the snapshot I was looking for. What we learned this past weekend — OK, we already knew it — is that Paul has a very loyal following. The Texas congressman has already proven that he can run a national campaign, but can he win the Republican presidential nomination? I’m not sure all of his views resonate with GOP primary voters. But I have to admit, I will be there again next year when the results are announced.

Does anyone out there sleep at night with Uncle Joe protecting us from waste, fraud and abuse of the $862 B Stimulus?

Does anyone out there sleep at night knowing that Uncle Joe is the Obama Administration point man on foreign policy?

Does anyone out there sleep at night knowing that his motorcade is coming to your town?

I know I don’t !
